This book addresses the frustration many small business owners face when trying to grow their businesses.  I call it the Small Business Owners’ Dilemma where nice people start a business because they love doing whatever it is that they love to do.  However, this love quickly turns to stress and fear when they realize that they need to sell in order to find new customers and keep their businesses going.

Cold-calling is stressful and for the most part, ineffective.  Depending on your personality and skills business networking may or may not work for you.  Both are very time consuming.

Yellow Pages ads are expensive and their effectiveness is difficult to measure.

All in all, we’re now in the Information Age and we need to adapt our selling methods to survive in this new environment.  That is what Nice People Can Sell is all about.
